"Birds Nest"... a Baby Shower Collection

>> Tuesday, April 21, 2009

Words can't describe how meaningful a baby shower can be for a new mom-to-be. A room full of loving friends and family members showing their support, bestowing their wisdom, presenting extraordinary gifts and, best of all, playing ridiculous baby shower games!

And now we present our "Birds Nest" Baby shower collection:

  • 5 x 7" Invitation
  • Banner for door or front lawn
  • Pennant banner - "Celebrate"
  • Note card - 4x6"
  • Bookplates
  • Gift log
  • Game sheet
  • Folded thank you note - 4x6"
  • Cupcake pick / party food lables / name tags
  • Cupcake wrappers / snack cup wrappers
  • handbag-style favor bag / place card

TIP: Many of our items have more than one use. Take those cute cupcake picks for example, print them on sticker paper and voila! Instant name tags! Want to integrate the favor bag into your tablescape? Write the guests names on them for instant place cards. Place our cupcake wrappers around small prep bowls or ramekin dishes and fill with snacks and treats to set around the room.

I love these--but how do I cut them out? Do I need a cricut or something like that?

hi allison... no special tools, just a pair of scissors and some tape. we do suggest a 2" round punch for the cupcake toppers, but it isn't necesary :)

I used this set for a shower I put on in October and it was beautiful! I got soooo many compliments. For centerpieces, I cut out the cupcake toppers and stuck them around the outside of mason jars, then I had sewed about 24 birdie ornaments from all different fabrics and they hung from twigs sticking up out of the jars. Then they doubled as favors for people to take home! Alas, I forgot to take pictures. The birds I made were these:
