"I Do" ~ Wedding Collection
>> Tuesday, February 24, 2009
A couple of weeks ago, Gabreial from Vintage Indie asked Paper & Cake if we would be interested in creating a DIY project exclusively for Indie's Wedding Month (month of March). This Indie Wedding Guide & Directory is a resource for brides to turn to when looking to minimize waste and create their wedding with the idea of using indie designers, a do it yourself attitude and those famous three R's: reuse, recycle and reduce.
Are you kidding? We JUMPED at the chance! Immediately we decided on a kind of etching inspired, vintage, shabby chic, illustration all rolled up into this - our first wedding collection. We call it the "Bluebird Wedding Collection"...
- Invitation
- Response card
- Save the Date card
- Ceremony Program cover
- Map card
- 8.5 x 11 Letterhead
- Menu
- Favor Bag Topper
- Favor Box
- Place Cards
- Circle tags
- Table numbers
In addition, (here is the great part) we are offering this collection two ways...
*Blank Set
Purchase the PDF file for $10 and print the individual pages at home. Computer savvy individuals, can then easily format the wedding information in Microsoft Publisher, Word (or any other page layout program), and reinsert the printed pages through your printer to add your text.
*Customized Set
For those brides looking for a ready-to-print customized download, we will input your wedding information for you. Each piece (ie. invitation, response card, save the date card) is $10 (order 5 or more pieces at a 10% discount).
And as always, print as many and as often as you like... how is that for going "green" on your wedding day?
ps- check back often to our etsy store, there has been talk of a matching "accessory set" for this wedding collection that might serve your needs for bridal showers or even rehearsal dinners!

What a great idea! It's lovely!
This is really cool. Would you ever consider doing a custom order? What might prices look like for something like that? I'm getting married in the fall and we're just starting to think about invitations and stuff.
